How it works:

Silent Auction items will be listed in a binder on the front counter at the Thrift Shop with a brief description of the article.  There is a minimum bid, bid increments, buy-it-now price and sale ending date.  The buyer must list a name and a telephone number to be reached if they do not choose to pay the buy-it-now price.

Silent Auction items will include collectables, furs, antiques, unique items, toys, dolls(new and old), all memorabilia, advertising items, older books and jewelry (new and old).

Proceeds from the Silent Auction benefit local groups.  Some of the past recipients include Task Force on Homeless, Community Gives Back, ALS, Relay For Life, Salvation Army, Farmers Market, Quota Club, Family Promise, Food Pantry, and the Holiday Project.
